On Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, officers with the Hope Police Department executed a  search warrant in the 500 block of North Walker Street. During the search warrant, officers  seized over 40 cases of beer and over 150 bottles of liquor. Officers also located a quarter pound  of marijuana and 960 suspected Ecstasy tablets.  

As a result of this investigation, David Conway, 65 of Hope, AR was charged with  Sale/Possession of Alcohol without a license. Shauntonio Frierson, 43 of Hope, AR was charged  with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
