Knoll qualified in the Girls 13-14 year old 200 yard Breaststroke where she placed 2nd with a time of 3:23.50. This is the 3rd time Knoll has qualified for the Junior Olympics, previously qualifying in both Iowa in 2018 and North Carolina in 2019 (the Hope Piranhas couldn't qualify last year due to the the Hope Public Pool being closed all summer).

"The competition was tough as there were a LOT of wonderful swimmers," Coach Amy Knoll, Sadie's mother, said. "All four swimmers from our team came home with ribbons and did great competing against mostly year round swimmers!"

12-year-old Ben Stewart placed 4th in both the 50 yard breaststroke and the 100 yard freestyle earning 10 points in total to the team as well as placing 6th in the 100 yard breaststroke where he earned an additional three points for the team.

14-year-old Abigail Crow also placed 4th in the Girls 13-14 year old 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:35.94 earning five points for the team. Her sister, 9-year-old Adyson Crow, shaved off 2 seconds in her 50 yard freestyle event.

The Hope Piranhas will compete in another Junior Olympics qualifier meet in Texarkana on July 10th in the hopes of having more swimmers qualify.
