On Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at approximately 1:04pm, officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Bobbie Mason 33, of Hope, AR for Forgery 2nd Degree (2 Counts). Ms.  Mason was arrested in the 200 block of East 3rd Street and was transported to the Hempstead  County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.  

On Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at approximately 11:43pm, officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Elizabeth Carter, 45 of Hope, AR. The arrest occurred in the 2600 block of  North Hazel Street. Ms. Carter was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance  (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Possession of Drug  Paraphernalia. Ms. Carter was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to await a  first court appearance.
