On Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 at about 7:35pm, officers with the Hope Police Department  arrested Khoreon Spearman, 21 of Hope, in the 400 block of Caney Creek Circle. Ms. Spearman was charged with Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree and held at the Hempstead County  Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.  

On April 29th, 2025, Afet Memeci, 44 of Fort Worth, TX was arrested in Carter County, OK for  a warrant that was issued in Hempstead County, AR. On Friday, May 9th, 2025, Memeci was  extradited back to Hempstead County, AR. Memeci was charged with Theft of Property over  $25,000.00 and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court
