PRESS RELEASE

On May 9, 2023, at approximately 11:00am, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Jewell Muldrow, 71, of Hope, AR.  Mr. Muldrow was arrested and charged with Delivery of Fentanyl. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of North Grove. Mr. Muldrow was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On May 12, 2023, at approximately 12:45pm, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Darius Brantley, 30, of Hope, AR.  Mr. Brantley was arrested and charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.  The arrest occurred in the 300 block of Washington. Mr. Brantley was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance. 

On May 15, 2023, at approximately 8:54am, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Yavonte Nolen, 28, of Prescott, AR.  Mr. Nolen was arrested and charged with Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of West Compress.  Mr. Nolen was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
