• Following the theme based upon the film “A Christmas Story,” the Yerger Middle School EAST program and YMS Student Council won the award for Best Use of Lights in the renewed Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade on Dec. 6

• The Hope Public Schools were widely represented with music by the Hope High School Marching Band;

• Clinton Primary School teacher Travell Green, Chamber Educator of the Year, serving as a Grand Marshal.

• Hope Academy of Public Service “Anything But Green Beans” canned food drive
