HOPE – Hope Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Bobby Hart announced today that schools in the Hope district will be closed Thursday in response to the approach of Hurricane Laura from the Louisiana coast.

“Due to the expected high winds and heavy rains from Hurricane Laura, classes in the Hope Public School System have been cancelled for Thursday, August 27,” Dr. Hart said. “Please stay safe.”
