The Bobcats took an early lead as Dylan Mercado delivered a nice ball to Sal Sanchez, as Sal found the back of the net to give the Bobcats a 1-0 lead. Anthony Dominguez would extend the Hope lead to 2-0, as he would score the Bobcats second goal of the first half. A few minutes later, Aniell Felipe would get in the action as he would give Hope a 3-0 lead on a beautiful pass from Gio Ruiz.
The Bobcats would take a 3-0 lead in the half, and Aniell Felipe would deliver a nice pass to freshman Jonathon Hernandez, as Hernandez would find the back of the net to put the game out of reach. Mena would score a couple of goals late to make the game seem closer than it was. Hope would win 4-3.
The defense of Sergio Brand, Gio Ruiz, Carlos Garcia, Fabian Aguilar, and Yair Munoz continues to prove a tough unit to get good looks against. Jose Bello continues his bid to be the top Keeper in the conference, as Bello continues to impress. Aniell Felipe finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist, Sal Sanchez, Anthony Dominguez, and Jonathon Hernandez each had 1 goal. Dylan Mercado and Gio Ruiz each had an assist.
The Bobcats are back in action on Friday as they take on Bauxite.
