Malvern- Hope Soccer Team continues their winning ways as they improved to 10-0-2 on the season with a 5-1 victory over Malvern. The win sets up a showdown in DeQueen Friday night as they take on the Leopards who are undefeated as well in conference play. Hope scored a goal about halfway through the 1st half on a great goal by Manuel Retana on a nice pass from Irvin Castrejon. In the second half the Bobcats flexed on the Leopards as they scored 4 goals in the last 40 minutes of the game. Joshua Ramos got the scoring started on a very nice goal on an impressive pass from Aniell Felipe. Pedro Cantu was granted a penalty kick and delivered to give the Bobcats their 3rd goal of the match. Adrian Yepez then found Aniell Felipe with a great pass as Felipe connected for the Bobcats fourth goal. Joseph Santamaria found Reyes Hernandez for the final goal of the match to give Hope a 5-1 victory. The Bobcat defense played great and Gilberto Dominguez had a good game. The Bobcats travel to DeQueen Friday for a game for 1st place and playoff implications.
