Hope- The Bobcat soccer team won 4-0 last night to kick off their season and the Lady Cat soccer team won 1-0 to begin their season. Both teams were very impressive, especially on the defensive end, blanking Malvern in both games.

 In the girls’ game, Brianna MaClaughlin scored the goal that proved to be the game winner, with Esmeralda Leon on the assist. Great teamwork defensively played a huge role in this opening win. The Girls are back in action Thursday night in Hope as they host Arkansas High beginning at 5:00.

The Bobcats had the lead early and had zero intention of letting go of it. Aniell Felipe was handing out assists left and right, assisting on all 4 Bobcat goals. Brian Jimenez, Reyes Hernandez, Marco Borboa, and Irvin Castrejon all scored goals for the Bobcats. The Boys are back in action Thursday night against Arkansas High in Hope.
