The City of Hope Tourism Commission along with Hempstead County Economic Development have collaborated with "Viewpoint Project with Host Dennis Quaid" to showcase our wonderful city across the nation. In early 2025 our Television segment will go live and will be distributed to more than 170 participating television stations across the country. The segment is part of Viewpoint’s Discover America series where they highlight great places to live, raise a family, visit and start a business. This project will be almost a year in the making and we couldn’t be more excited for it to broadcast nationwide.
Scheduled for filming on November 21, 2024 the upcoming episode promises to offer viewers a spotlight on the compelling exploration of our community and business climate.
As filming approaches and preparations for distribution are underway, Viewpoint, Hempstead County Economic Development and the Hope Tourism Commission are excited to announce that filming will take place during the Hope Downtown Christmas Open House. Local citizens and businesses will have an opportunity to become a part of the episode.
The segment will feature key members of the City of Hope and highlighting how communities can innovate and grow while maintaining area-specific amenities and distinct charm. From its strategic location and skilled workforce to its supportive business climate and quality of life amenities, Hope will showcase its regional importance and dedication to sustainable growth supporting multiple industries. Viewers will also hear from members of the industrial and business communities as they share their insights to Hope’s quality of place.
