Clarksville- The Hope Track and Field Team competed in the 4A State Meet Tuesday in Clarksville. The Bobcat and Lady Cat teams competed and finished very well Tuesday as both Quan Bradley (Shot Put) and Kaleo Anderson (100M) finished in 3rd in their respected events. Jaylei Simington competed very well as she earned points for her team by finishing in 5th place in the 100M Hurdles and also placed 11th in the 100M. Freshman Noah Cheatham competed in the 200M finishing 17th, Cheatham is a young athlete that Coach Clark and Coach Turner are both very excited about. Kaleo Anderson ran a 11.11 in the 100M earning him a Bronze Medal. Quan Bradley shot-putted herself to the podium for a Bronze Medal with a 34 ft. Shot Put. It was a great track season the Bobcats and Lady Cats, anytime you have multiple student-athletes competing in State Meets it's a big deal. Coach Clark, Coach Muldrew, and Coach Turner have the track program heading in a very good direction.
