Hope XC Competes at Nashville Invitational, Jr. Boys Earn Conference Runner-Up
Nashville- For their third event in 8 days, the Hope Cross Country team continues to show up and compete well, as they had some great individual performances, as well as teams finishing near the top in each event. Coach Marshall was extremely proud of the way these athletes competed, with 11 new personal records for the Bobcats and Lady Cats at a very tough Nashville course. 

Madelyne Maclaughlin continues to impress as she was 2nd overall in a race that consisted 61 runners. It's her fourth top-6 finish of this month, and has placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in her last three races. Allison Yhoss(PR) finished in 18th overall place, as she has been one of the most consistent runners for the Lady Cats this year. Sofia Serrano was next for Hope, followed by Wendy Hernandez, and Marley Almaraz. The girls finished the day in 3rd place. 

In the Sr Boys race, Bradley Brown posted a very good time and place (posting a PR), as he finished 13th overall. Nathan Sanchez finished top-20, followed by Omar Cardona (PR), Oswaldo Alvarado, and Emir Barrientos(PR). 

In the Jr. high events, it was the Conference meet and the guys were named Conference Runner-Up. Daniel Garcia led the way finishing in 12th place. Breydon Brawner was next, with Angel Salomon, Javier Martinez, and Rodrigo Olivo behind them. For the girls, Valeria Castillo, Jamie Prado, Wendy Toledano, Angelique Marrufo, and Yuliani Martinez rounded out the top-5 runners for Hope. 

Other notable PR's for Hope were Blake White, Giovanni Piza, Johnathan Hernandez, Marcos Rodriguez, Jayce Sampson, Israel Juarez, and Esmeralda Reyes. 

Hope is back on the trail this Saturday in Genoa.
