Haden Newton had 2 TDs for Blevins and Kaden Powell would score the other touchdown as the offense put together some drives and found the endzone 3 times on Friday. Jackson Bonner converted on a 2pt conversion and threw for 68 yards, both on balls to Caden Stroud. The Hornets totaled over 300 yards of offense in the game, as the offense looked as good as it has all season thus far.Â
The Hornet secondary had 3 pass break-ups and Daniel Vershay deflected a pass right into the hands of Kaden Powell as Powell intercepted the ball. Stroud would also have 3 tackles for loss and Andrew Block had 2 tackles for loss.Â
The Hornets are back in action on Friday Sep. 20 as they travel to Abundent Life. Kickoff is set for 7PM.
