The Hornets would continue to extend the lead throughout the game, on their way to a 36-point win, 86-50. "We came out and played great from the start, lot of intensity the crowd was electric again, good win," Coach Ethan Dixon said after the game on his Hornets 2nd win of the week.
Xavier Bazzelle followed up his 30-point performance Tuesday night with a better one, as he torched the nets for a career high 45 points. Jemiyan McMorris poured in 11 points for Blevins, knocking down three 3-pointers. Rilee Faulkner and Sean Rohan each had 8 points and Jaxon Hinton poured in 7 points. Javier Gomez had 5 points, Jackson Bonner and Kaden Powell each had 4 points, Kayston Phillps added a 3 pointer.
Bazzelle spoke on the win after the game, "We worked all Summer for this, we're not surprised we just want to put on a show every night, our crowd showed up and showed out and we don't want to disappoint, we want to give everyone their money's worth."
Blevins is back on the hardwood next Tuesday at home against Columbia Christian.
