On Monday April 12, 2021 at approximately 12:08am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Uriel Gomez Jr., 21, of Hope, AR and charged him with domestic battery in the 3rd degree, false imprisonment in the 2nd degree, and interference with emergency communications in the 1st degree.  The arrest occurred in the 500 block of North Elm Street in Hope, AR. Gomez was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Mr. Thornton was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance synthetic marijuana, and served a failure to appear warrant and a foreign warrant service.

5:26pm in the 700 block of W. 16th St.
Dylan Hinson, 35, of Hope, AR
Mr. Hinson was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, possession of controlled substance marijuana, and served a failure to appear warrant.

The male juvenile was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of handgun by minor, and minor in possession of alcohol.
