Police Department

On August 19, 2021 at approximately 11:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Anton Welch, 22, of Emmet, AR and charged him with domestic battery in the 3rd degree.  The arrest occurred in the 1300 block of North Spruce St. in Hope, AR. Welch was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Anton Welch, 22, of Emmet, AR
Mr. Welch was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree.

8:25pm in the 200 block of N. Hervey
Mindy Williams, 38, of Blevins, AR
Ms. Williams was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated drugs, and refusal to submit to BAC.

5:00am in the 200 block of E. 16th
Braylon Turner, 20, of Hope, AR
Mr. Turner was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree, and criminal mischief.

11:47pm in the 700 block of E. 4th
Corey Beavers, 39, of Texarkana, AR
Mr. Beavers was arrested and charged with public intoxication drinking in public.

11:14pm in the 2600 block of N. Hazel
Michael Evans, 37, of Hope, AR
Mr. Evans was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree.

Dennis Ashton, 28, of Hope, AR
Mr. Ashton was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree.
