On August 24, 2021 at approximately 1:55pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Sharon Johnson, 46, of Hope, AR and charged her with aggravated assault, residential burglary, and battery in the 3rd degree. The arrest occurred in the 1000 block of North Greening St. in Hope, AR. Johnson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On August 27, 2021 at approximately 12:23pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Eltia Willis, 54, of Hope, AR and charged him with breaking or entering. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of South Walnut St. in Hope, AR. Willis was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On August 28, 2021 at approximately 12:41pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Defarious Phillips, 22, of Texarkana, TX, Eric Crayton, 18, of Texarkana, AR, Zion Marks, 19, of Texarkana, AR, and Tavarus Robynson and charged them each with theft by receiving. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of North Hazel St. in Hope, AR. Phillips, Crayton, Marks and Robynson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
