On August 7th, 2023, at approximately 3:26pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Steve Clark, 42, of Hope, AR in the 100 block of West 16th Street. Mr. Clark was charged with Breaking/Entering and Theft of Property. Mr. Clark was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.

On August 7th, 2023, at approximately 3:23pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Steven Ray Clark, 22, of Hope, AR in the 100 block of West 16th Street. Mr. Clark was charged with Breaking/Entering and Theft of Property. Mr. Clark was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.

On August 8th, 2023 at approximately 6:50pm, officers with the Hope Police Department served a warrant on Jakobe Bishop, 22, of Hope, AR. Mr. Bishop had been arrested in Mississippi and extradited back to Arkansas. Mr. Bishop was charged with Sexual Indecency with a Child and held for a first court appearance.

On August 10th, 2023 at approximately 10:52am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Darius Washington, 34 of Hope, AR, in the 200 block of East Greenwood Street. Mr. Washington was charged with Residential Burglary, Domestic Battery 3rd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Washington was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.

On August 13th, 2023 at approximately 1:00am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Lindsey Brown, 24 of Hope, AR, in the 100 block of West Avenue D. Ms. Brown was charged with Domestic Battery 2nd Degree and Domestic Battery 3rd Degree. Ms. Brown was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.
