On December 22, 2021 at approximately 7:57pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Jonathan Sinyard, 37, of Hope, AR and charged him with possession of controlled substance prescription drugs and driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred in the 1600 block of South Main Street in Hope, AR. Sinyard was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On December 30, 2021 at approximately 7:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Latisha Welch, 49, of Hope, AR and charged her with theft of property. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of Eastridge Drive in Hope, AR. Welch was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On December 31, 2021 at approximately 12:39am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Gregory Hearon, 54, of Hope, AR and charged him with possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, and refusal to submit to BAC. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of South Main Street in Hope, AR. Hearon was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On January 1, 2022 at approximately 12:28am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Carlos Matamoros, 22, of Hope, AR and charged him with possession with purpose to deliver marijuana. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of East Avenue A Street in Hope, AR. Matamoros was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
