MEDIA RELEASE 

On February 23, 2023 at approximately 3:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department William White,  61, of Hope, AR. Mr. White was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a family member,  domestic battery in the 3rd degree, and false imprisonment in the 1st degree. The arrest occurred in the  700 block of West 6th Street in Hope, AR. Mr. White was taken to the Hempstead County Detention  Facility and held for a first appearance.  

On February 24, 2023 at approximately 1:40pm, officers of the Hope Police Department Lenin  Montoya, 26, of Hope, AR. Mr. Montoya was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on family  member. The arrest occurred in the 1700 block of West 5th Street in Hope, AR. Mr. Montoya was taken  to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Calvin Young, 62, of Hope, AR
Mr. Young was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to BAC.

Peggy Roach, 40, of Hope, AR
Ms. Roach was arrested and charged with criminal mischief with the first degree, and served a failure to appear warrant.
