MEDIA RELEASE 

On June 28th, 2023, at approximately 3:40pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested  Henry Flowers, 57 of Hope, AR. Mr. Flowers was arrested in the 200 block of North Hervey  Street and charged with Breaking/Entering, Theft of Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia  and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons. Mr. Flowers was taken the Hempstead County  Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.  

On June 28th, 2023, at 2:25pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Demontel  Armstrong, 19, of Stamps, AR. Mr. Armstrong was arrested in the 300 block of South 

Washington Street and charged with Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons. Mr. Armstrong was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.  

On June 29th, 2023, at approximately 12:20pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Stephen Webb, 65, of Rosston, AR. Mr. Webb was arrested in Bodcaw, AR and charged  with Aggravated Assault, Fleeing, Reckless Driving and Disobeying a Stop Sign. Mr. Webb was  taken the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance. 

On July 2nd,2023, at approximately 8:07pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested  Daviunta Purifoy, 21, of Hope, AR. Mr. Purifoy was arrested in the 600 block of South Walnut  Street and charged with Breaking/Entering (2 counts), Theft of Property (2 counts) and  Fraudulent use of a Credit Card (2 counts). Mr. Purifoy was taken the Hempstead County  Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.
