All Information Is Provided By The Hope Police Department

On June 29, 2020, at approximately 11:10pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Derrell A. Wyrick, 28, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with aggravated assault on a family member. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of West Avenue D, in Hope.  Wyrick was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.   

On July 1, 2020, at approximately 7pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Darius Hurst, 24, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with 2 counts of aggravated assault on a family member.  The arrest occurred in the 500 block of North Hazel Street, in Hope.  Hurst was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.  

On July 1, 2020 at approximately 410:15am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Harmon Williams, Jr., 47, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with aggravated assault on a family member, domestic battery 3rd degree, and interference with emergency communications 1st degree.  The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street, in Hope.  Mr. Williams was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On July 4, 2020 at approximately 3am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested William Vanhorn, 35, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with driving on a suspended license, possession of firearms by certain persons, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, and drinking on the highway.  The arrest occurred in the 1300 block of East 3rd Street, in Hope.  Vanhorn was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On July 4, 2020, at approximately 7:30am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Lisa Hawkins, 37, of Hope, Arkansas and charged her with battery in the 2nd degree. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of East Avenue A, in Hope.  Hawkins was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.  

On July 5, 2020, at approximately 4:45am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Keith Stout, 40, of Fouke, Arkansas with a warrant for forgery in the 2nd degree. The arrest occurred in Miller County Arkansas. Stout was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.  

On July 7, 2020, at approximately 10am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Kassidy Witherspoon, 23, of Hope, and charged her with eight counts of forgery in the 2nd degree. The arrest occurred in 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, Arkansas. Witherspoon was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On July 7, 2020, at approximately 11:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Terrence Allen Jr, 18, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with three counts of commercial burglary and two counts of theft of property. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street, in Hope, Arkansas. Allen was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.  

On July 7, 2020, at approximately 4pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Ron Lewis, 35, no address given, and charged him with forgery in the second degree. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Washington Street, in Hope, Arkansas. Lewis was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance

On July 8, 2020, at approximately 1am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Brian Adamson, 37, of Hope, Arkansas, and charged him with rape. The arrest occurred in 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, Arkansas. Adamson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
