On May 31st, 2023, at approximately 7:50am, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Frederick Burton, 56, of Hope, AR. Mr. Burton was arrested in the 300 block of West 16th Street
and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Fentanyl) near
Certain Facilities. Mr. Burton was taken the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a
first court appearance.

On May 30th, 2023, at approximately 7:15am, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Chaslee Duck, 38, of Hope, AR. Ms. Duck was arrested in the 2000 block of Holiday Drive for
Theft of Property that occurred on 05/29/23. Ms. Duck was taken to the Hempstead County
Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.
