On Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at 12:44pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Deshawn Bishop, 36 of Hope, AR in the 200 block of East 3rd Street. Mr. Bishop was charged with Failure to Register as Sex Offender. Mr. Bishop was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to be held for a first court appearance.

On Friday, November 14th, 2025 at 8:00am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Mayra Guerrero, 24 of Hope, AR in the 300 block of South Washington. Ms. Guerrero was served with a warrant for Domestic Battery 2nd Degree and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to be held for a first court appearance.
