MEDIA RELEASE

On November 8, 2021 at approximately 3:40pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Lisa Pearson, 43, of Hope, AR and charged her with lottery fraud, 4 counts of theft of property, criminal trespass, and served her a failure to appear warrant.  The arrest occurred in the 2400 block of North Hervey Street in Hope, AR. Pearson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance. 

On November 8, 2021 at approximately 10:21pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Cameron Rhodes, 19, of Hope, AR and charged him with unlawful discharge of firearm from a vehicle and 4 counts of aggravated assault. The arrest occurred in the 900 block of East Hickory Street in Hope, AR. Rhodes was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance. 

On November 8, 2021 at approximately 7:40pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Lisa Horton, 20, of Hope, AR and charged her with unlawful discharge of firearm from a vehicle and 2 counts of aggravated assault. The arrest occurred in the 1800 block of North Hazel Street in Hope, AR. Horton was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance. 

On November 13, 2021 at approximately 8:53pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Raychelle Thomas, 31, of Hope, AR and charged her with reckless burning and served a foreign warrant service. The arrest occurred in the 900 block of Henry C. Yerger Street in Hope, AR. Thomas was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On November 14, 2021 at approximately 2:36pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Adrian Coley, 31, of Hope, AR and charged him with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of Briant Street in Hope, AR. Coley was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On November 15, 2021 at approximately 7:12pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Jerry Hart, 40, of Texarkana, TX and Katie Johnson, 33, of Hope, AR. Mr. Hart was charged with possession with purpose to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms by certain persons, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and theft by receiving. Ms. Johnson was charged with possession with purpose to deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest occurred in the 1600 block of North Hervey Street in Hope, AR. Hart and Johnson were taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On November 16, 2021 at approximately 11:38pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Jamie Kelly, 36, of Hope, AR and charged her with possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of East 6th Street in Hope, AR. Kelly was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance. 

On November 18, 2021 at approximately 11:52am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Corvell Anderson, 33, of Mineral Springs, AR and charged him with residential burglary and theft of property. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, AR. Anderson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On November 20, 2021 at approximately 12:12am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Zakheus Box, 19, of Hope, AR, Ra’Gee Lawson, 19, of Chidester, AR, Tirese Thomas, 20, of Hope, AR and a male juvenile of Hope, AR.   Mr. Box was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon, possession of controlled substance of marijuana, minor in possession of alcohol and unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle. Mr. Lawson was arrested and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, carrying a weapon, and served a foreign warrant service. Mr. Thomas was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon a driving on suspended driver’s license. The male juvenile was arrested and charged with unlawful discharge of from a vehicle, carrying a weapon, possession of controlled substance marijuana, possession of a handgun by minor or possession on school property, 2 charges of aggravated assault, and served a foreign service warrant. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of East 2nd Street in Hope, AR. Box, Lawson, Thomas, and the male juvenile were taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Mr. Willis was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, minor in possession of alcohol, refusal to submit to BAC, careless and prohibited driving, driving left of center, and speeding.

November 13, 2021

Raychelle Thomas, 31, of Hope, AR
Ms. Thomas was arrested and charged with reckless burning, and served a foreign warrant service.

Mr. Cooley was arrested and charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Mr. Kelly was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
