On Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at approximately 10:08am, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Melissa Morton, 55 of Hope, AR. Ms. Morton was arrested in the 200 block of East 3rd Street and charged with Theft of Property, Fraudulent use of a Debit Card, Financial  Identity Fraud and Computer Fraud. Ms. Morton was taken to the Hempstead County Detention  Facility and held for a first court appearance.  

On Sunday, December 10th, 2023, at approximately 1:00pm, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Damariyae Jackson, 24 of Hope, AR. Mr. Jackson was arrested in the 700  block of South Pine Street and charged with Residential Burglary and Terroristic Threatening. Mr. Jackson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court  appearance.

On Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at approximately 1:10pm, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Frederick Burton, 57 of Hope, AR. Mr. Burton was arrested in the 100  block of South Hazel Street and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule I  or II) and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Schedule VI). Mr. Burton was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance. 

On Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at approximately 1:10pm, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Dedra Gulley, 33 of Hope, AR. Ms. Gulley was arrested in the 100 block of  South Hazel Street and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule I or II) and  Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule VI). Ms. Gulley was taken to the Hempstead  County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.
