On Wednesday, April 3rd,2024, at approximately 10:50am, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Carvolin Seth Crowe, 33 of Hope, AR. Mr. Crowe was arrested in the 400  block of South Washington Street and charged with Controlled Substances – Fraudulent  Practices. Mr. Crowe was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court  appearance. 

On Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, at 8:18pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested  Tommy Burdue, 53 of Hot Springs, AR. Mr. Burdue was arrested in the 400 block of South  Bonner Street and charged with Theft of Property (Felony). Mr. Burdue was transported to the  Hempstead County Detention Facility where he was held pending a first court appearance.

On Friday, April 5th, 2024 at 3:43pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Carolyn  Laughard, 66 of Hope, AR. Ms. Laughard was arrested in the 500 block of S. Laurel Street and  charged with Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree. Ms. Laughard was transported to the Hempstead  County Detention Facility and held pending a first court appearance.
