On Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at about 3:50am, officers with the Hope Police Department  arrested Anals Esparza, 18 of Hope, in the 400 block of South Ferguson Street. Ms. Esparza was  charged with Theft by Receiving (Firearm) and Battery 2nd Degree and held at the Hempstead  County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.
