Department arrested Bernard McCarthur, 53 of Hope, AR. Mr. McCarthur was arrested and
charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, three counts and Possession of a Controlled
Substance near Certain Facilities, three counts. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of South
Elm Street. Mr. McCarthur was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and
held for a first appearance.
Department arrested Darkevious Davis, 19 of Hope, AR. Mr. Davis was arrested and charged
with Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons. The arrest occurred in the 1000 block of South Cedar Street. Mr. Davis was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
