On June 23rd, 2023, at approximately 8:00am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Ted Hamilton, 52 of Hope, AR. Mr. Hamilton was arrested in the 1500 block of West 5th Street and charged with Breaking/Entering (5 counts) and Theft of Property (5 counts). Mr. Hamilton was taken the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.

On June 24th, 2023, at 5:15pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Jacqueline Charles, 31 of Hope, AR. Ms. Charles was arrested in the 1600 block of North Sherman Street and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Charles was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.
