On Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 at about 8:20am, detectives with the Hope Police Departmentarrested Ted Hamilton, 53 of Hope, in the 200 block of East Greenwood Street.

Mr. Hamiltonwas charged with Breaking/Entering (2 counts), Theft of Property (2 counts) and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons. Mr. Hamilton was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.
