On April 22nd, 2023 at approximately 2:57pm, Sergeant Dusty Townsend and Corporal Charlie
Featherston received a call, in reference to an unresponsive infant on North Cedar Street in
Hope, AR.
Upon arriving, officers discovered the infant was not breathing and began CPR. The actions of
these officers prolonged the infant’s life to receive medical care at the hospital. 
On Friday, August 25th, 2023, Danny Watson, Arkansas State Representative District 88,
presented Sgt. Townsend and Cpl. Featherston with thank you letters from the State of Arkansas,
House of Representatives.
