Congratulations to H & R Block on being named the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce February 2022 Business of the Month!!! H & R Block was formed in 1955 by Henry and Richard Block. Local Entrepreneur, Brenda Williams purchased the Prescott office in 1992 and has been a H&R Block franchisee for 30 years.  Brenda’s Prescott office is proud to employ from 6 to 8 employees every year.  Most of those employees have from 20 to 30 years' experience doing tax returns. Her employees are required to have 18 to 30 hours of continuing education hours per year. H&R Block in Prescott is a year-round tax service firm, even though they have shorter hours after tax season. They also offer accounting services that include books, payroll tax filing with W2s and profit and loss statements. Office hours during tax season are at a minimum 9 to 6 Monday thru Friday and 9 to 5 on Saturday. Some Sundays they are available from 1 to 5 (for their client's convenience). You can always call for an appointment and they will be happy to work around your schedule.
