HEMPSTEAD COUNTY (8-12) – Construction work on Highway 195 will require a weekend closure in Hempstead County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will close Highway 195 to through traffic at the intersections of Highways 355 and 73 from 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14 until 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17. Detours will be in place at these intersections that will allow local traffic, but no traffic will be allowed across the railroad crossing during construction (see attached map).
