Jacob Flores entertained with smooth singing and elegant soloing, accompanied by loops made live and played back by his synthesizer.
Jacob Flores played for two hours in the torrid twilight air under an awning at Fair Park's Farmers Bank & Trust stage. His pleasing set included contemporary country, latin, rhythm and blues and even classic rock with several originals of his own. There were party songs, romantic songs and songs of innocence and experience.
Perhaps his most astonishing performance was of The Eagles' epic "Hotel California," which included Flores' fluid singing, his latin-flavored guitar soloing and many loops from his keyboard that comprised what sounded like a rock orchestra.
His show was sponsored by Amigo Juan's.
