FAYETTEVILLE - Along with Auburn center/forward Walker Kessler, Arkansas sophomore center/forward Jaylin Williams was named a SEC Co-Player of the Week Monday by the SEC Office in Birmingham, Ala.
Williams, 6-10, 240 lettering in his second Razorbacks season out of Fort Smith Northside, averaged 16.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals helping Arkansas defeat South Carolina and Texas A&M in SEC games last week at Walton Arena.
Williams tallied a career high 19 points and gathered nine rebounds against South Carolina and double-doubled against Texas A&M with 14 points and 11 rebounds while blocking three shots and nabbing a career high six steals.
Keller, 7-0, 255, averaged 17.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots leading Auburn past Georgia and Kentucky.
