Teachers change the lives of millions of children every day. With the abrupt end to the physical school year, our teachers have gone above and beyond to ensure every student has the resources and tools they need to be successful and continue to learn. Virtual classrooms, zoom meetings, facebook groups, reading stories online....these are all just a few of the ways that our teachers have been able to reach their students and ensure their education.

Please join us in sending a great big THANK YOU to our teachers for all they have done to continue our children are learning during these challenging times.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8 and SWARK.Today wants to reward one lucky teacher from each school district in Hempstead and Nevada County with dinner at a local restaurant. Tell us who your favorite teacher is and why and enter them for a chance to win!

Contest Rules:

• Teachers MUST be employed with Hope Public School District, Blevins School District, Spring Hill School District, Prescott School District, Nevada School District or Garrett Memorial Christian School.

• Please include Teachers Name, School District and the reason why they have been nominated

• One winner will be chosen from each school district

• Winner will be determined by a drawing for each school district
