FAYETTEVILLE – Razorback sprinter Jordan Anthony is receiving votes for The Bowerman watch list with the latest men’s update released on Thursday.

Anthony recently achieved a rare sprint double in claiming 60m titles at the SEC and NCAA Indoor Championships and his times of 6.54 and 6.49 along with a 6.47 in the NCAA prelims rank among the best for those two meets.

The previous SEC-NCAA Indoor sprint double was accomplished in 2019 by Florida’s Grant Holloway, 2019 The Bowerman winner, while Anthony’s times rank second to the 6.52 and 6.45 times posted by Christian Coleman of Tennessee in 2017, the year he won The Bowerman.

Anthony become the eighth sprinter to win SEC and NCAA titles in the 60m dating back to 2000. His SEC title was the first by a Razorback since 2018 and he became the first Arkansas sprinter to ever win the NCAA 60m title.

The 6.54 Anthony produced in winning the SEC title broke the UA record of 6.56 set by Kenzo Cotton in 2016 and equaled the career best set by Anthony in the prelims of the 2023 NCAA Indoor while he was with Kentucky.

During the prelims of the 2025 NCAA Indoor, Anthony finished second in his heat with a 6.47, which ranks equal No. 6 performer and equal No. 8 performance on the collegiate all-time list.

The 6.47 time ranked second on the 2025 indoor world list to the 6.46 registered by USC’s JC Stevenson in the same heat as Anthony in the prelims of the NCAA Indoor as the pair of sprinters challenged the collegiate record of 6.45 that is shared by three sprinters.
