Jr. Bears Drop Hard Fought Game, Claim 2nd Place in Tournament

Spring Hill- The Spring Hill Jr. Bears found themselves in a tough battle against the visiting Indians from Caddo Hills Thursday night. The Bears had a slim 1 point lead after the opening quarter and they extended that lead to 20-12 at the half as Jackson Putz hit a buzzer beater to send the game into halftime. The Indians outscored the Bears 17-6 in the third quarter to flip the game in their favor. The Bears fought hard, but just couldn’t get the lead back in the final quarter dropping the game to Caddo Hills 44-36. Karson Hamilton led the Jr. Bears offensively with 15 points and Maddox Dixon played a well-rounded game adding 12 points. Putz finished the game with 6 and Mason Moore rounded out the scoring with 3.

Coach Hamilton and the Spring Hill faithful definitely have some young talent to look forward to in the years to come. The Spring Hill Jr. Bears finished the season with an overall record of 12-6.
