Hope- The Jr. Bobcats welcomed the visiting Jr. Trojans from Hot Springs Thursday night in a conference game. The Game started out with Hot Springs scampering to the endzone to take an early lead, but Hope would respond with a Tra Gomer long TD run in the opening quarter. Gomer would turn on the jets and score again in the first half on another long run. Hot Springs would score three more TDs in the 1st half to take a 28-14 lead at the half. The Bobcat defense would clamp down better in the 2nd half of the game allowing just 8 points, but the offense sputtered a bit and would go scoreless in the last half to drop the game to the Jr. Trojans 36-14. Hope would shoot themselves in the foot Thursday night with 3 turnovers (2 fumbles and 1 INT). Tra Gomer would end up with 185 yards rushing and 2 TDs and QB Austin Courtney would throw for 39 yards.
