Jr. Lady Jays Win Game Against Jr. Lady Saints

Hope- The Jr. Lady Jays hit the road to GMCS to take on the Jr. Lady Saints on Thursday night and Lady Jay Gabby Evans showed up and showed out, as she poured in a game-high 18 points. Ma'Kaylee Howell added 8 points, as Nevada pulled away late to beat GMCS 28-19. Preslee Peck posted a 14 point, 10 rebound double-double for the Jr. Lady Saints. Peck also had 2 blocks. Heaven Garcia, Brailyn Almand, each scored 2 points, and Abby Mendoza added 1 point. Raylee Adkison had 8 rebounds and Almand added 6 rebounds. This game was back and forth early on, but Nevada turned some tough defense into points in the 4th quarter to pull away late.

Nevada will be traveling to Haskell HG Tuesday and the Jr. Lady Saints head to Prescott next Tuesday.
