Benton- The Jr. Lady Saints hit the road on Tuesday for a game against Saline Co. and it came down to the wire, as the Lady Saints fell just short 30-24. Preslee Peck put up another double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds, as she continues to be a problem for the opposition. Peck also hosted a block party in the lane, as she blocked 6 shots.
Gracie Bullock has really emerged as a scoring threat for GMCS, as she scored 6 points, grabbed 4 boards, and had 3 steals. Abby Mendoza had 2 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lainee Almand scored 1 point and had 2 rebounds. Lexi Crane did a great job on the boards, as she brought down 4 rebounds. Payton Anderson added 3 rebounds, and Blayklee Glass is back in action and added a rebound and a steal.
The Jr. Lady Saints are gearing up for another run at the State Championship beginning next week, so they'll have a game Friday night in Texarkana against Trinity Christian as a final tune-up game before the tourney.
