Pool Play

GMCS won both sets over Trinity Christian (25-14) (25-9). Laila Santifer had 4 aces, Savannah Fields had 2 aces and 2 kills, and Lexi Crane added 1 ace and 1 kill.

GMCS lost in straight sets to Taylor 25-10 and 25-9. Savannah Fields had 1 kill and Abby Mendoza had 1 ace. 

GMCS beat Faulkner Co. in straight sets by scores of 25-10 and 25-15. Savannah Fields had a great game with 8 aces and 1 kill. Laila Santifer had 6 aces and 2 kills and Heaven Garcia had 3 kills. Brailyn Almand had 2 aces and 1 kill, Abby Mendoza 1 ace, 1 kill, and Lexi Crane added an ace. 

Silver Bracket 

GMCS had a rematch with Faulkner Co. and once again won in straight sets 25-8 and 25-16 to advance to the Silver Bracket Finals. Laila Santifer had another good game with 5 aces and 2 kills. Abby Mendoza had a great game with 3 aces and 3 kills, while Lexi Crane added 2 aces and a kill. 

GMCS would face Emerson in the Silver Bracket Championship and would defeat them in straight sets, 25-16 and 25-14. Lexi Crane would lead the way with 3 aces and 3 kills in this game to help the Jr. Saints win the championship. Savannah Fields added 3 aces as well. The GMCS Jr. Team earned the Crusaders Jamboree Silver Bracket Champions. The Jr. Team is back in action this coming this Monday as they travel to CCS.
