Jr. Saints Beat Westside in Straight Sets on Monday Night
El Dorado- The Jr. Lady Saints (7-3) hit the road to El Dorado on Monday night. It has been six days since their last game and they came out very sharp as they played extremely well and won the match in straight sets 25-19, 25-23. Westside handed the Jr. Saints a loss a couple of weeks ago and this team has had this rematch circled on their calendars ever since. Blayklee Glass had 3 kills, 3 aces, and 2 digs for GMCS as she continues to display a great brand of volleyball on the court. Abby Mendoza had another great night as she had 4 aces and 3 kills. Abby missed the last match against Westside with an illness, so she was determined to help her team avenge the loss from a couple of weeks ago. Lexi Crane was all over the court on Monday night and had 2 kills and 2 digs. Josie Pinner had another great game as she piled up 3 aces, 1 kill, and 1 dig as she continues to improved every week. Gracie Bullock was tied for a team-high 4 aces in this match and Zoe Robertson had 1 kill and 1 ace and Zoe continues to be a problem at the net for the opposition. Mattie Rogers had 2 digs and Laikyn Burns had 2 aces to round out the points for the Lady Saints.

This group continues to trend in the right direction and look for them to make a lot of noise in the State Tournament next month as they are a hungry group that have shown a lot of resilience this season.

The Jr. Lady Saints are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Columbia Christian for a match beginning at 4:30.
