Kindred At Home hosted the Hempstead Chamber of Commerce community coffee this morning at their downtown location. The theme, a Hawaiian Luau, complete with a hut, leis, blow up palm trees, pineapples, a waterfall and of course, flamingos. They fittingly served fruit kabobs, grape, apple and orange juices, as well as coffee for those that wanted it. Sacks were filled with information about what Kindred At Home can do for your loved ones who may someday need their services.

Many locals came out to enjoy the view and treats as they visited with Kindred staff about what services they provide. Kindred At Home specializes in caring for persons who may be recovering from a hospital stay, chronic illness patients and even immediate medical needs for right from the comfort of that person's own home. They work with doctors to address health and medicinal needs, as well as offer skilled nursing, physical therapy services and much more.
