Lady Bears are Heating Up at the Right Time, Beat Dierks and Advance to Semis
Caddo Hills- The Lady Bears' season a few weeks ago looked like it was headed in the wrong direction and some would say they had zero chance at advancing to the Regional Tourney, but this group of girls has a lot of fight left in them. They took it to the Lady Outlaws last night and walked off the court with a 48-39 victory to advance to the semi-finals and clinch a spot in the regional tourney next week.

Spring Hill would lead the entire way and close out the game in impressive fashion last night. Seven Lady Bears would score in the game as it was a well balanced offensive attack and their effort was unmatched.

Huge offensive rebounds throughout the game by Kenzie Thompson, Ava McBrayer, and Darby Coffee helped the Lady Bears dominate the game in second-chance points. Livi Tyree poured in 12 points for the Lady Bears and dished out some key assists. Ava McBrayer has been beyond impressive as of late, as she scored 12 points and was all over the floor making plays for her team. Kenzie Thompson would add 8 points and Andrea Zacarias would score 7.

Blakelee Adams got into some foul trouble early on, but came back and battled and helped lead the Lady Bears to victory, as she scored 4 points and played very aggressive defense. Ava Purifoy hit 3 key free-throws late in the game and took care of the basketball, as well as blocking a handful of shots on defense. Darby Coffee came off the bench and played huge minutes for Spring Hill as she scored 2 points and grabbed numerous rebounds for the Lady Bears.

The Lady Bears will play Horatio for a chance to advance to the District Championship. The tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
