Spring Hill would score 25 points in the opening quarter and would not look back, as they cruised to a 65-34 win. Blakelee Adams got going early and led the way with 22 points as she paced the Lady Bears offense on Monday night.
Kenzie Thompson and Ava McBrayer would each score 7 points, while Ava Purifoy, Livi Tyree and Andrea Zacarias would each add 6 points. Darby Coffee and Keira Cantwell would each score 4 and Anna Flowers would hit a 3-pointer to round out the scoring for Spring Hill.
Great defense early on led to some easy points for the Lady Bears, and the same stingy defense would give the Lady Gators fits, as Spring Hill would dominate on the defensive end of the floor all game. Great rebounding and limiting Foreman to second-chance points were keys to the victory tonight, and the Lady Bears will need to do the same Tuesday night against Dierks. The Lady Bears and the Lady Outlaws are set to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. with a berth in the regional tourney and a trip to the conference semifinals up for grabs.
