The Lady Bears got off to a great start, jumping out to an early 14-4 lead in the opening quarter, and by the half they were leading 28-9. With Spring Hill's defense and some big buckets from Ava McBrayer and Kenzie Thompson in the 3rd quarter, the Lady Bears would cruise to a lopsided win. After the game Ava McBrayer spoke on the win and the opportunity that awaits this group on Tuesday, "First I want to give God the glory for the season we've had, we had a good game tonight and Friday so I feel confident heading into the game tomorrow, we just have to play together and we'll be fine."
McBrayer led the way with 17 points for Spring Hill, as she also did a great job rebounding. Kenzie Thompson poured in 10 points and rebounded great as well. Layla Cantwell scored 9 points, Knightley Porter scored 7 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Anna Flowers hit a 3 pointer, Livi Tyree and Addison Butler each scored 2 points, and Darby Coffee added a free throw.
The Lady Bears are set for the 4/5 game with Horatio and tip-off will be at 4pm Tuesday. Winner will clinch a birth in the Regional Tournament and advance to play Dierks in the Semi-Finals.
