Lady Bears Beat Lady Jays Tuesday Night
Nevada- The Lady Jays played host to the Lady Bears on Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup. Spring Hill opened up the game on a great run, outscoring Nevada 23-5 in the opening quarter, behind some great shooting by Livi Tyree who hit two 3-pointers in the first quarter, and Ava McBrayer who scored 11 points in the opening quarter. The Lady Jays would answer, outscoring the Lady Bears 21-11 in the second quarter to make the score 34-26 at halftime. 

The third quarter started and it was all Spring Hill in the second half, as they outscored Nevada 35-8 to win the game 69-34. After the game Livi Tyree spoke on the Lady Bears win, "We got it together after halftime, we're getting better at running the floor up and down and our threes are falling finally."

Four Lady Bears scored in double-figures on Tuesday, as Livi Tyree led the way with 19 points, including three 3-pointers on the game. Kenzie Thompson poured in 17 points, as she scored 11 in the third quarter. Ava McBrayer scored 15 points and Layla Cantwell had 11 points. Anna Flowers scored 3 points and Darby Coffee and Andrea Zacarias each scored 2 points. 

Jordin Haley led all scorers with 26 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Zette Brown had 4 points and Karleigh Carlton had 3 points for the Lady Jays. 

Both teams are back in action this weekend as they both are competing in the Dierks Classic.
